Daily Writing Prompts
There are two definitions of the word “Drabble”;
Merriam-Webster’s;
to be or become wet and muddy: dabble in or go through wet or miry places.
and the Urban Dictionary’s;
A short piece of writing…usually no more than 1000 words (although length is debatable) and often not bearing any real direction or plot…
We’re going with the latter for this calendar. I am putting my own parameters on these little ficlets. They should be anywhere between 100 to 1000 words. They can be more than 1000 but NO LESS THAN 100 words. Use old characters or new characters. While my drabbles will, more often than not, include gay male/male romance, don't think you have to write in the same genre. The point is to get and/or keep the creative juices flowing. Don't stress about them. Have fun with them. Share them or don't but most importantly...
Write!
